16 gauge stainless steel is typically made from T304 stainless steel, containing 20% chromium and 10% nickel, offering high durability and resistance to rust, dents, and scratches. 304 stainless steel is often considered more resistant than many other types of steel, including some leading carbon steels and lower-grade stainless steels, for several reasons:

1. Corrosion Resistance: 304 stainless steel contains a higher percentage of chromium (typically 18%) and nickel (around 8%). This combination enhances its resistance to corrosion, especially in environments that may expose it to moisture or corrosive substances.

It withstands impact and will last for years. This best seller adds width, adding an extra wide stainless-steel trim around the wall corner. Our 16-gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel Corner Guard is Heavy Duty crafted of the highest quality materials and made in our Beltsville Maryland, USA Factory. Able to withstand impact and will last for years. The #4 Brushed Satin Stainless finish provides excellent protection and easy maintenance. It is available formed in 90 degree or 135-degree angles.  

We Offer Three Basic Options:

1) Holes for screw mounting require a #8 pan head screw (supplied separately for an additional cost).  Counter Sunk holes option includes #8 Flathead stainless steel screws.

2) Wing Option material is bent again 3/8" inward at the ends of each corner guard leg. This option provides a more finished look, prevents rocking and helps the corner guard to hug an out of square wall.

3) Tape Mount Factory attached 3M™ peel & stick Double-sided bonding tape.  (Wings option is highly recommended when mounting with Two-Sided Tape).

Hole Spacing: 48” has 3 holes on each leg, 1 hole 3” in from each end and 1 hole in the center, 3/8” in from edge. (1/2” from edge if tapered wings are required)
